BAWINILE NDLOVU ELECTED NAPSAWU PRESIDENT IN THE CONGRESS

New President of NAPSAWU Comrade Bawinile Ndlovu The elective congress of NAPSAWU, that kicked off on Wednesday 19 th July 2023 and concluded its business on Friday 21 st July 2023, elected comrade Bawinile Ndlovu as the president of the workers union. Comrade Bawinile was elected into office together with a relatively new leadership collective into positions as well as  some returning faces as well.  Comrade Bawinile defeated former President Oscar Nkambule while former National Organising Secretary Dumisani Nkuna was elected Deputy President. The General Secretary Thulani Hlatshwayo was re-elected into his position ,defeating former 1st Deputy General Secretary Thabile Zwane. New Tresurer Thuli Dlamini defeated the former incumbent Mpendulo Ginindza. New Treasurer Thuli previously served as the secretary of the women's  structure. The theme of the congress is “Strengthen and Advance Working Class Consciousness in the Workplace for the Betterment of Workers”. The congress will be attended by over 200 delegates from eleven NAPSAWU branches as well as the national committees such as women and youth structures.
