Public service collective bargaining forum social partners have undergone collective bargaining and negotiating skills training

The public service collective bargaining forum, the Government Negotiations Forum (GNF), social partners recently underwent Collective Bargaining and Negotiations Skills training by the Commission of Mediation, Arbitration and Conciliation (CMAC).  The training took place in Piggs Peak.

The trade unions involved in Government Negotiations Forum (GNF) are, National Public Service and Allied Workers Union (NAPSAWU), Swaziland Democratic Nurses Union (SWADNU), the Swaziland National Association of Government Accounts Personnel (SNAGAP) and the Swaziland National Association of Teachers (SNAT). Leaders from the unions attended the training.

The Eswatini government was also represented by its official including the number one (1) civil servant, the Secretary to Cabinet Mr Victor Dludlu.

The social partners in the pubic service negotiations forum are expected to enter into a gruelling collective bargaining year in 2025 wherein a salary review and job evaluation report is expected to be delivered and implemented.

70 individuals appointed into Emabandla at a high cost to the fiscus

  Eswatini Attorney General Sifiso Khumalo (online picture) King Mswati III the Head of State of Eswatini on Saturday issued a directive through the Attorney General Sifiso Khumalo appointing around 70 individuals into several national committees, also known as Emabandla. The appointments come more than a month after the term of office of the previous Emabandla’s term of office came to an end and their term in office was extended indefinitely by the King through a gazette issued by the Attorney General. 1.    THE HISTRORY OF SWAZI LABOUR LAW – BY NATHI GUMEDE It is difficult to proceed with issues of individual and collective Swazi Labour law without outlining the key events in the history of the Swazi Labour Movement.
